York, PA—Former Congressman Joe Sestak (D-Delaware County) has endorsed State Representative Eugene DePasquale for Auditor General, the DePasquale campaign announced today.
“Representative DePasquale is a proven leader for Pennsylvania,” said Sestak. “Being the first to put his expenses online displays leadership through action. The people of Pennsylvania are frustrated by the never-ending partisanship.  Eugene has the track record to build bi-partisan coalitions, reduce waste and present solutions to the challenges we face to make our great state even greater.  That is why I am supporting his candidacy for Auditor General.”
Mr. Sestak served in Congress from 2007-2011 and is a former three-star admiral.
“I am honored to have Congressman Sestak’s support,” said DePasquale. “His service to our nation in the Navy and Congress displayed a consistent theme of accountability. That is the same thing I aim to bring to the position of Auditor General.”
DePasquale also received the unanimous endorsement of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee earlier this month.
